Andrew Truong

Exercise Physiologist

Fit 4 Movement Director/Owner

Andrew completed his Bachelor of Human Movement (Exercise & Sport Science) at the University of South Australia in 2016 and had worked as a Sports Trainer and Strength and Conditioning/Rehab Coach at both amateur and state-level football clubs in SA including Woodville-West Torrens Football Club. Andrew also has a strong swimming background and has been the Head Coach and Vice-President of the UniSA Swimming Club since 2020.

 

Andrew then progressed his studies and completed his Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Deakin University in 2020. Andrew has since worked in clinical private practice and corporate health including rehabilitation consultant, pre-employment screening, workplace assessment, and ergonomic assessments. Andrew has a passion for working with clients with cardiovascular and metabolic disease, and musculoskeletal injuries particularly the shoulder and knee, along with those with cognitive and physical disabilities.

Andrew is also currently studying for his Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy to complement his Exercise Physiology services. Andrew enjoys participating in different sports including swimming, football, badminton, and cycling.

Jacqueline Addison

Remedial Massage Therapist

Jacquie completed a Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2018 and is now completing a Bachelor of Human Movement at the University of South Australia. Jacquie has worked as a sports trainer where she implemented her massaging skills with the Sturt Women’s SANFLW team. Jacquie has been involved with sports from a young age and understands movement patterns and injuries which may arise in sports such as swimming and tennis. 

Jacquie specializes in sports massage, deep tissue massage, and trigger pointing to assist athletes and gymgoers experiencing tight muscles. Jacquie has a knack for locating tender points and releasing tension resulting in increased range of motion, and functionality and reduced localised pain. Jacquie is abe to assist with posture correction for those who spends majority of their day sitting behind the wheel or their workstation. 

Outside of work, Jacquie can be found planning tennis on the weekends and swimming at the UniSA Swimming Club which she has now taken on the role of Vice-President from Andrew in 2022.
